Putting the pieces together

Great Expectations

        Based on the beloved novel by Charles Dickens, Great Expectations 

   is the coming-of-age story of humble orphan Pip, who dreams of 

   becoming a gentleman. In love with a beautiful and damaged girl 

  of a different class, he fears his love will never be reciprocated. 

     Unexpectedly, with the help of an unknown benefactor, his hopes 

      are realized and his new life as a gentleman takes many turns. 

      Filled with traditional Dickensian stories of wealth & poverty, love 

& rejection and the eventual triumph of good over evil.

My Fair Lady

This musical is about Professor Henry Higgins, who takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined, dirty Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady, and fool everyone into thinking she really is one, too! He does, and thus young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford-Hill falls madly in love with her. But when Higgins takes all the credit and forgets to acknowledge her efforts, Eliza angrily leaves him for Freddy, and suddenly Higgins realizes he's grown accustomed to her face and can't really live without it.
